John Corey

John Corey is the president of CSC Leasing Company. He acquired majority interest in the company in 1990, and since the beginning, his entrepreneurial leadership has kept CSC on the path of growth and progress. John has built the company based on experiences at IBM as a salesperson and his work at another large national leasing company. He holds a bachelor’s of science degree in economics from Hampden-Sydney College.

When he’s not leading CSC, John can often be found on the golf course or in the woods hunting. John is also a prolific reader. Serving on a number of boards and committees, John views community involvement as one of his top priorities. He encourages this same philosophy at CSC.

At the top of John’s priority list, however, is spending time with his four children—three sons and a daughter. He also finds inspiration in the world every day, he said, from “positive people and new ideas.”

Tom Cottrell

Tom Cottrell has been vice president of CSC Leasing since starting with the company in 1995.  Before joining CSC, he was co-founder of two successful technology companies.  Tom graduated from Hampden-Sydney College with a bachelor’s of science degree in psychology, and a concentration in economics.

Outside of CSC, Tom has been active in the Richmond community for many years, and has served as a board member for numerous local non-profit organizations.

Tom enjoys many activities that involve being outdoors, but his inspiration has always been his wife, daughter, and two sons.

Granville Valentine

Granville Valentine is the Chief Financial and Operating Officer of CSC Leasing and has been with the company since August 2010. Granville has broad executive-level management experience acquired over his 35 years in business since graduating from the University of Virginia with a degree in economics. He spent the first sixteen years of his career with the Fortune 500 company James River Corporation and then went on to lead R. P. Industries, Inc. as President and CEO for eight years. Over the past ten years he has served as the President and CEO of Eagle Teleservices, Inc. and as President of PartnerMD, LLC.

Granville is very active in the community having served on the boards of a number of local non-profits including the Greater Richmond Chapter of the American Red Cross as Chairman of the Board and later as Interim CEO.

Granville enjoys spending time with his wife of 30+ years, their three children, and extended family. He is game for just about any outdoor activity from the Blue Ridge Mountains to the Chesapeake Bay.

Cathy Redford

Cathy Redford joined CSC in November 2011 as Vice President of Sales. She has been in the technology leasing industry for over 25 years, delivering creative leasing solutions to a wide range of clients. Cathy enjoys delivering a high level of customer service and building long term relationships with her consultative approach to sales and marketing. 

In addition to holding Senior Sales and Management positions in the technology leasing industry, Cathy worked at IBM Corporation and Arthur Andersen. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a bachelor’s of science in business administration and management.

Cathy’s non-profit involvement includes volunteering and supporting organizations with a focus on technology, health, education, and individuals with special needs.
She also enjoys spending time with her family, including her two dogs, and any activities out on the river.
